Tall Vertical See-Through

A portrait-format firebox for high architectural openings.

This configuration is higher than it is wide and has two opposite viewing faces. “Tall vertical see-through firebox” is clear international procurement language; “portrait-format see-through firebox” is also appropriate.

Configuration basis: tall, narrow housing with two opposite viewing openings.

Last technical review: July 14, 2026. The pictured 800 x 1800 mm concept is not a universal standard size.

Configuration

Vertical proportions introduce structural and visual constraints.

The tall frame must remain stable, square and serviceable while presenting a relatively small fire feature near the bottom. The surrounding divider, anchoring, glass, heat or mist path and maintenance route need to be resolved together.

Critical Decisions

Structural stability

Define anchoring and surrounding support for the full height, not only the burner platform.

Opening proportions

Confirm visible width, height and burner position from both sides so the flame does not appear lost in the tall frame.

Glass and guarding

Specify glass height, fixing and cleaning access as part of the production scope.

Service route

Keep the lower appliance and internal components removable without dismantling the entire divider.

Project Brief

State the portrait dimensions explicitly.

  • Exact appliance model and fuel/effect type.
  • Total firebox width, height and depth.
  • Two visible opening dimensions and sill height.
  • Glass, finish, anchoring and surrounding divider.
  • Service panel, connection and removal route.
  • Country, quantity and shipping limitations.

Correct name: use “tall vertical see-through firebox.” Avoid “double-open type,” which is ambiguous in international specifications.

FAQ

Is 800 x 1800 mm standard?

No. It is a documented example format; final dimensions are project-specific.

Is it double-sided?

Yes, with two opposite viewing faces in a portrait-oriented housing.

Can it use ethanol?

Potentially, after the exact burner, heat, guarding and ventilation requirements are coordinated.

Can it use water vapor?

Potentially, with appropriate mist airflow, water, drain and service access.
